The second match in the Caribbean Rugby 15's Championships, between defending champions Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana, will be played today at the University of West Indies Bowl, Mona.
A win for Guyana will give them the title while a Trinidad & Tobago victory will open the doors for Jamaica, who lost to Guyana 5-6 in Thursday's opening game of the three-nation tournament.
"We are going to come out and play hard, do what we know we have been training very hard for," said Guyana's coach Edwin Chase.
After watching Guyana beat Jamaica on Thursday, Trinidad & Tobago's coach Curtis Nero said his team will exploit their weaknesses.
"We had a look on Thursday, we saw one of the areas that we could capitalise on," he said.
Structured game
He said by playing a more structured game, his team should win.
"The ball became loose a lot of times in the tackles and a lot of opportunities came off set pieces," Nero noted.
Also he identified: "In terms of the width of the field, it wasn't used to the extent we would like. If we do the things that we know and train for, we will be okay," a confident Nero said.
