Out of touch!
published: Wednesday | October 4, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

In the words of Ziggy Marley, "What a plot". This aptly describes Joan Gordon-Webley's "Shakes-pearian" accusation of communist conspiracy in Mountain View. This is a whole rehash of the communist duppy of the '70s and '80s - figment of the JLP imagination being rejuvenated by Mrs. Gordon-Webley. I am glad she mentioned Jacques Road because until this day, the largest arms cache was found in a house in that area during the bloody 1980 election.

Mrs. Gordon-Webley, you too are out of touch with world reality much the same way as is your party leader. It is not communism again. It is now about Judaism, Islamic fundamentalism, Catholics, Rasta-farianism, and Christianity. Oops, maybe I should not have mentioned the latter, because next you'll be accusing Herro Blair of teaching Christianity to the people of Mountain View.

I am, etc.,

LLOYD SCOTT
