HOSTS WOLMER'S continued their impressive run in the ISSA/Pepsi/JN Manning Cup with a 5-0 thrashing of Kingston College (KC) yesterday.

The maroon and gold registered their second victory of the season over KC after their 2-0 triumph two weeks ago.

The team was led by a brace from substitute Shane Spragg (73rd and 75th minutes).

Wolmer's came out firing on all cylinders in the first half and were rewarded in the 13th minute when Kemar Richards fired home a powerful right-foot shot past goalkeeper Shane Earlington, who was beaten at his near post.

Wolmer's captain, Nicholas Beckett, scored his team's second goal in the 34th minute with a well-placed strike from point-blank range to send the spectators into wild celebrations.

KC's best chance in the first half fell to Andre Sharpe, but his effort was wide of the target.

Wolmer's stepped up the pressure upon resumption and sealed the deal when Spragg headed home the team's third goal in the 73rd minute.

Two minutes later, he returned to volley home a left-side cross from teammate Kevin Brown.

Mikhail Hewitt capped off an excellent day for Wolmer's with a spectacular header on the 84th minute between two KC defenders.

Group B: Norman Manley 1 Donald Quarrie 1, St. Jago 3 Edith Dalton-James 0.

Group D: Meadowbrook 3 Tivoli High 2, Eltham 1 Campion 0.

Group F: Wolmer's 5 Kingston College 0, Bridgeport 3 Pembroke Hall 1.
