NEM INSURANCE and Lasco will meet in the final of the Business House Netball Association's Intermediate B divisional competition. The team, trained by Patrick Brissett, registered wins over STATIN 27-17 and Blue Cross 24-18 respectively in Tuesday's semi-finals at the Leila Robinson courts.
Today, the heavyweights will play. Introducing the Super League for the first time this year, Victoria Mutual Building Society has pumped in $80,000 to sponsor the new league, comprising the top four senior teams.
Among these heavyweights are defending Senior League champions General Accident. The team was fined $8,000 by the BHNA disciplinary committee for forfeiting their September 30 match in protest against one of the assigned umpires for the game. The association confirmed that the fine has been paid and the team will be allowed to play. General Accident will face Jamaica Broilers while Bank of Nova Scotia A meets RBTT at 6:45 p.m.

In Tuesday's match STATIN put up a great fight but they were simply outplayed by NEM.
"We had already beaten them, so we expected to beat them again," Brissett said.
Though he says both teams played the same game, Lasco's match was more difficult.
"With Blue Cross, we identified early they were the team to beat. Lasco just endured. It was a closer game and I think Lasco seemed to have been fitter than Blue Cross and they played well. I think they could have done better but the important thing was a win and they are in the finals," Brissett said.
