Roen Nelson

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):

Joe Public are three points clear at the top of Trinidad and Tobago's Professional Football League (PFL) standings after a double strike by prolific Jamaican forward Roen Nelson helped them to a 3-3 draw with San Juan Jabloteh on Tuesday night.

Nelson hit two first half goals but Joe Public needed a last-minute goal from Gary Glasgow to earn a share of the points after San Juan Jabloteh had surged into a 3-2 lead.

With that result, Jabloteh lost second-place in the standings to W Connection, who defeated Superstar Rangers 1-0 to move up to 50 points, one ahead of Jabloteh (49) and three behind Joe Public (53).
