are the contenders for the presidency of the University of Technology (UTech).
The successful candidate will replace Dr. Rae Davis who retires next month.
Dr. Davis, the brother of the Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Omar Davies, has been president of UTech since August 1996, when he took over from Dr. Alfred Sangster.
Interviewed
on tuesday
Lord Bill Morris, chancellor of UTech, said yesterday that the men were interviewed on Tuesday and the university's Registrar, Dianne Mitchell, is now preparing a report to be submitted to a joint committee where a recommendation would be made.
The UTech Council, the decision making body of the university, would then appoint one of the candidates.
Lord Morris was unable to say when the recommendations would be made but noted that a new president should be in office by January 1, 2007.
