New board for Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ)

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller has appointed a new board for the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), which merged with the National Investment Bank of Jamaica (NIBJ) in September.

Chaired by Cabinet Secretary and head of the civil service, Dr. Carlton Davis, the board will comprise: Dr. Wesley Hughes, Ifert Daley, Imani Duncan, Albert Gray, Myrtle Halsall, Aubyn Hill, Tasha Manley, Annmarie Rhoden, Pastor Neville Wright and a representative of Jamaica Promotions Corporation.

The appointment took effect on November 1 and will cover a three-year period.

A new chief executive officer is to be appointed by the board.
