Top bookers of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel were treated to a fine evening of 'big-ups' on November 29.
Held at the hotel's Top Of The World suite on the roof, the hotel staff ensured their guests did feel on top of the world, showering them with gifts, fine food and music.
"The sales and marketing team tells me you're the best of the best!" said a jovial
general manager Eldon Bremner. He then went philosophical as he asked what was a car without an engine, and other Confucius-esque anecdotes to merely express that they were nothing without their bookers. He told them that without their support, there would be difficulty filling bedrooms, and the function rooms would be empty.
Counts on partnerships
He said the hotel counted on their partnerships to fill the Pegasus' targets. He and sidekick, hotel manager Nancy McLean then handed out awards to some of their top bookers in both the room reservations and function rooms categories.
Then entertainer supreme Dwight Richards and his band then rocked the gathering with a lively performance, including some good soca selections, showing his repertoire was quite impressive.
