Chris Dehring, the chief executive officer of the outfit organising cricket's World Cup, which is to be held in the West Indies from March, has recently been about urging support for the tournament.

The Editor, Sir: At the individual and business levels, a new year always brings about some level of reflection - reflection on what we did and what we could have done or done better in the past year.


Issue: 'Hardtalk' revelation and two prophets

What is up with all of these prophets? In The Gleaner (January 2), I read the prophecies of two so-called prophets. One prophesied crime reduction and economic growth, while the other prophesied more bloodshed and dark days ahead.
