Ripon Road to get facelift
published: Tuesday | January 9, 2007

The National Works Agency (NWA) will be carrying out repair work on Ripon Road between Wednesday and Saturday this week.

Ripon Road is approximately half a kilometer in length and is located between Eureka and Oxford roads in the Kingston 5 area. During the period of repairs, the roadway will be reduced to single lane traffic.

This project forms part of the Micro Surfacing Programme of work that the NWA has been undertaking islandwide. It is being carried out by Micro Surfacing Limited and will cost just under $800,000.

Alternative routes are Constant Spring, Oxford and Eureka roads. Motorists are asked to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs while work is in progress.
