A calendar event, known for its conscious lyrics and clean, wholesome entertainment, Rebel Salute 2007, although a little lengthy, more than delivered on its promise.

Of the some 40 artistes, slated and unslated, who graced the stage, among those who shone the brightest were: Buju Banton, Etana, Kenyatta Hill - his tribute to his father was simply magnificent - Queen Ifrica, Tarrus Riley, Assassin and I-Wayne.

Tru-Juice Rebel Salute 2007 delivered a conscious vibe deep in the hills of St. Elizabeth.
