The works of Johann von Goethe were delivered in a showcase at the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts on Saturday.

The evening was coordinated by the German Embassy and the Appalachian State University in the United States. Jamaican Lori Johnson and U.S. tenor Seth Hobson provided the audience with renditions of poems and ballads from the great writer's repertoire. The musical adaptations for the evening included pieces from such great composers as Schubert, Mozart and Beethoven.
