The Editor, Sir:

In an article published in the November 13, 2006 edition of the Gleaner, it was stated that a benefactor of the Home of Charlotte's Children Foundation in Montego Bay, "Is asking persons to stop using the name of the home to solicit donations without its permission."

Founder/president, Mrs. Beulah Buzzi, clarifies that fund-raising events authorised by Home of Charlotte's Children Foundation are valid. Mrs. Buzzi further clarifies that at present those authorised are Friends of Charlotte's Children in Italy and Marguerite Trotman and her associates in the U.K.

All others wishing to organise fund-raising events for Charlotte's Children are kindly requested to first contact the direction at (876) 971-9912 or email cchome@cwjamaica.com. I am, etc.,

Beulah Buzzi

Montego Bay
