Venezuela's Chávez opens fuel storage facility in Dominica
ROSEAU, Dominica (AP):Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez opened a fuel storage facility on this poor island of Dominica on Friday, as part of a programme offering Caribbean countries fuel on generous terms.

Oil prices climb above US$59 per barrel

NEW YORK (AP):Oil prices jumped more than US$1 per barrel Friday, led by gains for heating fuels, in another volatile trading day for crude.


Rice urges leaders to push for reconciliation

BAGHDAD, (Reuters):United States Secret-ary of State Condoleezza Rice, told Iraq's leaders yesterday to use any lull in violence to push ahead with national reconciliation, adding that U.S. patience would not last forever.
