Alexander rendered Zach helpless with a drug and killed the Amelia impersonator. Admitting he murdered the women, Alexander blamed Zach and overpowered Kendall. He then set up a deadly scene in which Zach would end Kendall's life, but Zach made a desperate move to try to save her. Aidan outwitted the hit men Alexander ordered to get rid of him, Jamie and JR. Ryan figured out where Zach might be. Bianca didn't want Zoe to leave town, but neither of them was ready to admit their true feelings. Jack was devastated when, in response to Barbara's accusations, Erica didn't deny that she slept with Jeff.

Eliot beat up Emily after grilling her about Dusty. Paul was shaken when his latest vision showed a hand reaching into a crib, with sounds of a woman screaming. Katie accidentally got hit in the eye with a hockey puck and wasn't allowed on air. When Katie lashed out at Brad, he hurt her feelings, all witnessed by Jack. Vienna was lovesick after a tryst with Henry.

Brooke wasn't thrilled by Ridge's idea to use their wedding as a publicity event for the grand opening of Forrester Originals, but agreed for Ridge's sake Rick insisted that his and Phoebe's relationship was no one else's business, Ridge was irate to learn that a photo of the couple was circulating on the Internet. Nick and Taylor shared a romantic time on the boat, only to have Taylor hospitalised after a tanker accidentally destroyed the vessel. Eric turned down Stephanie's request to send Ann back to Chicago.

Steve convinced Kayla to 'help' John, but she was horrified to learn that she must remove John's kidney. With the suspect list narrowed down to Beth, Lizzie and Alan-Michael, Lillian revealed that she had brought a gun to the wedding but didn't shoot Alan. Alan-Michael and Josh's guns were eliminated as the murder weapon, but Cassie remained uneasy. Josh suddenly proposed to Cassie, who accepted, while Reva blamed herself on hearing the news. Alan-Michael managed to hide the fact that he could walk from Ava and Coop, but Beth found out and asked him to help get Doris out of the family. Daisy had a romantic fantasy about Gus. Dinah learned that a mystery man was being released from jail.

Cristian broke up with Evangeline after finding Todd at her place in a state of undress. When Michael wouldn't deny having killed Spencer, John brought his accusations to Bo, but came across a new clue, even as Rex and Michael realised they wrongly suspected each other.

Meanwhile, Victor hired David to become Jack's campaign manager, and David persuaded Jack to run for office. When Jill learned that Amber and Cane were married, she held off revealing her tie to him. Phyllis and Nick were furious with Michael and Lauren for concealing their knowledge that Sheila had been alive.
