Scoffing at prophecy
published: Monday | April 23, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

The Lord has commanded me in a vision to respond to Evangelist Myers' letter, 'Tell us how many seats, Dr. Phinn', which appeared in The Gleaner on April 21. Who among us dare refute the vision of Dr. Phinn or his direct communication with God?

The people who scoffed at Noah did so at their peril. The Bible tells us that God appeared to Jews and Gentiles, saints and sinners alike. He has even spoken to George Bush, President of the United States.

Because evangelist Myers or the Sadducees of Christianity in Jamaica have not received the gift of divine prophecy, or a direct line of communication with the Almighty, is no reason for them to be sceptical or dismissive of Dr. Phinn. Remember Jesus himself was crucified by the sceptics.

I am, etc.,
