The postal service headquarters, Central Sorting Office (CSO), is located very close to Sabina Park and so customers are reminded that there will be changes to traffic flow - both pedestrian and vehicular - in response to the staging of the Cricket World Cup semi-final match tomorrow. South Camp Road will be closed.
Jamaica Post customers and staff are advised that in order to access CSO, vehicles will be required to use Upper Elletson Road and then turn on to Norman Road. This arises from the closure of South Camp Road for the duration of cricket matches.
PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
Persons who wish to walk along South Camp Road to go to Postal Coop Credit Union may proceed only as far as:
Glenmore Road located to the south of Sabina Park;
Rosemount Avenue located to the north of Sabina Park, as ONLY Sabina Park match ticket holders will be allowed to proceed further along South Camp Road. No one will be able to walk from one end of South Camp Road to the other, so you will have to detour either into Allman Town, or on to Upper Elletson Road.
JUTC buses will travel along Upper Elletson Road instead of South Camp Road.
Jamaica Post staff are reminded that they cannot use South Camp Road to go to Postal Coop Credit Union.
