Now that the CWC tournament has ended, it is time to take stock in an effort to determine the future of the new infrastructures around the Caribbean. It is now clear that the expenditure will not be recovered with immediate effect; therefore, let us now proceed with good enterprising planning in order to utilise these fantastic sporting infrastructures around the Caribbean, let us not envision them as future problems but great entrepreneurial opportunities.
I have not seen the other grounds up close but, on entering Sabina, it strikes my that this facility could be used for a gigantic clay court tennis tournament on a yearly basis, with worthy sponsors, of course, among other events. This would be just as important as a CWC tournament in terms of world promotions and prestige and probably financial profit for the upkeep of Sabina.
Realities like this, which are seen by small minds as the proverbial white elephant, are really a great opportunity for the enterprising mind.
