Can't be trusted

There are some in the PNP sitting on their hands in the hope that the party will lose the general election so they can wrest the leadership away from Mrs. Simpson Miller; someone close to the seat of power is now saying some 'sitting on the fence' cannot be trusted. The first election date considered by the PM was July 31, but this was leaked to the Opposition. When the PM got wind of this, she changed the date, hence the initial angry response.

Pension question

Which party members benefit more from the move by the P.J. Patterson-led government to peg the pension of retired Prime Ministers to the salary of the serving Prime Minister?

Trouble in the camp

There is much tussle taking place these days as the leadership can't see eye-to-eye.

Platform promise

Was one platform promise made recently done to placate the donors who donated quite a sizeable chunk of cash?

Fuss over food

How not to win friends and influence voters: Those who aspire to high offices or their offspring should not walk up to elderly women who have distinguished themselves and berate them and cuss them out over a plate of food in a buffet line.
