The Editor, Sir: I am particularly annoyed that the issue of funding regarding the plans of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), keeps arising even after the debates put on by the National Debates Commission. It is also raised by politicians, media and by citizens.
Candidates' different styles
The Editor, Sir: I enjoyed the political debate on Saturday very much. However, I was very disappointed with the evaluations by the panel interviewed by Michael Sharpe on TVJ. No member of that panel represented the average working class Jamaican.
Missing essentials
The Editor, Sir: Since the announced election date, politicians positioning themselves to be elected, have been making promises that include free education , free health care for all ages, fundamental constitutional changes, and proposals for restructuring the security forces.
