Who is running Jamaica?
published: Thursday | August 23, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I am writing to ask this simple question: Who is running Jamaica? Is it the Queen? the Governor-General? the Prime Minister? the Leader of the Opposition? the People?

The sooner that we (Jamaica) are able to answer that question is the sooner we (Jamaica) will be able to finally function as a sovereign nation.

Please consider publishing the Jamaican constitution so our citizens can become aware of it and what it contains.

Never forget: land and resources being the definition of nationhood: with the people being the primary (first and most important)resource.

Thank you for your time and may the most high God (Jah) bless our beloved nation, Jamaica.

I am, etc.,

Uncle Mac and

Aunt Aglyn Grandson
