Is this relief genuine?
The Editor, Sir: Only in Jamaica can a Prime Minister arrange a major, across-the-board giveaway of state resources under the guise of providing hurricane relief. What is more shocking is that very little concern has been expressed about it by right-thinking Jamaicans.
PM not coping
The Editor, Sir: Being in Jamaica on vacation this past month and being in tune with what is happening in the lead-up to your general election, one thing is fairly obvious. Your current Prime Minister is unable to cope with the jobgiven to her.
Who to vote for
THE EDITOR, Sir: As an avid reader of your newspaper and one who uses it to determine which party I would vote for, I am impressed by the fair-mindedness of our Prime Minister who at all times demonstrates her eagerness to make those who are less fortunate comfortable.
