After weeks of perfecting trademark walks and developing signature looks, lean young hopefuls will take aim at modelling's top prizes as Pulse gets ready to crown new talent at the finals of the Caribbean Model Search tonight at the Hilton Kingston hotel.
Pulse's Caribbean Model Search (CMS) appeals to thousands of young Caribbean nationals who aspire to be models.
This year, the Search has been expanded to the United Kingdom and parts of the United States and Canada. For the Jamaican leg of CMS 2007, hundreds of entrants showed up at Pulse, as well as the islandwide searches, and now 18 semi-finalists have been selected for the CMS reality TV series, while over 70 contestants will compete for the four titles up for grabs at the live Friday finals.
As part of Pulse's commitment to producing stellar entertainment, tonight's live event will see for the first time, the assembly of the history-making, record-breaking, trailblazing supermodels who personify the strength, tenacity and evolution of the Caribbean fashion industry. The 'original' Pulse supermodels, the first to strut their stuff on the world stage, have come together from various parts of the world for the first time ever in a 'supermodels reunion'.
