Kimberley Francis - Contributed Kimberley Francis was keeping her fingers crossed that she would have been able to pull off at least a grade three in her Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Mathematics exam. Needless to say, that when the results came out and she found out that she got a grade two, she nearly hit the roof with excitement.
"I was so shocked, but extremely happy about it," she said.
The Holy Childhood High School student passed eight subjects in this year's CSEC exams and starts sixth form at the same school.
"I really worked hard and so I was very happy when the results came out. I know I was prepared, but I still was very happy when I realised how well I did," she said.
The outspoken youngster received distinctions in English language and accounts, which is her favourite subject.
Kimberley, who is from Spanish Town, in St. Catherine, is excited about going back to school and is thrilled that she made her parents proud.
"That's what makes me most happy. I tried my best and so I'm happy with how it worked out," she said.
