With a blast of mist, and the roar of new engines, the 2008 Subaru Impreza hatchbacks were rolled out into the KIG showroom.
The automobiles were the centre of attraction, guests trying out the controls, admiring the interior and getting that new car smell. KIG simply doesn't put out inferior material, so whether it's for sporting, cruising or racing, Subaru fanatics and those who love cars in general should love the new Imprezas.
General manager of KIG, Major Hugh Blake, said the new Subaru was being launched at a time when the company officials were undergoing a period of introspection and reorganisation; hoping to ensure that those who buy their vehicles, remain customers for life.
Transport minister Mike Henry saluted KIG for being one of the few dealers worldwide who were given the privilege to launch the new car. He also gave a thumbs up to the motor racing industry in general, seeing it as another vehicle to development.
Out and about were Jan Bayliss, Denise White, Clover Morris, Matthew Peterkin, Vinessa Cadien Miller, David Ebanks, Carmen Patterson, Herbie Gordon, Reginald Allen, Macklin Peterkin, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Anthony Bell and Andrew Lawrence.
