Pegasus back to normal by month end
published: Thursday | October 11, 2007

According to Eldon Bremner, general manager of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston, full restoration of all services offered at the 18-floor facility is expected by the end of this month.

This as a result of continuous work being done following a fire which damaged sections of the hotel on August 21.

Hotel officials told The Gleaner that, since then, the hotel has embarked on a phased restoration to get all its services up and running. This involves, so far, the reinstatement of all function rooms on the lobby and lower lobby floors, including, the Grand Jamaican Suite (Ballroom), Belisario Suite, William Gordon Suite, Port Royal Suite and Gardens at the Pegasus.

"The Jamaica Pegasus is on track for full resumption of all services as of November 1 and reservations are being accepted for bedrooms," said Mr. Bremner.
