Susie's Bakery and Coffee Bar - expect a fresh meal

(Savoury Category - $1,300

Susie's Bakery and Coffee Bar will be serving you dinner.

The eatery, which is known for its scrumptious pastry and coffee, wants to add dinner to that list.

With two locations, one on Barbican Road and the other in Southdale Plaza, the 11-year-old bakery and coffee bar will be joining KRW for the first time.

"The whole thing for us is special because we've never done dinner before," said Susie Hanna, one of the proprietors.

Opening a new outside dining area at the Southdale Plaza location and fully testing out longer opening hours, KRW promises some new moves for them.

The new terrace will host approximately 70 persons and for KRW, you can simply pick up your phone and make a reservation.

Their dishes have a Middle Eastern influence, so expect that to be reflected in their menu.

Casual diners will not be left out, as inside the store will be left for individuals not wishing to take part in the activities. Their sandwiches, cappuccinos, frappacinos and pastries will still be available.

Known for making everything from scratch, especially their breads, expect your meal to be fresh. It's their signature. Grilled rustic bread will accompany some entrées.

Mrs. Hanna said it was difficult to choose desserts for KRW's menu as that is where she started. But, two new desserts, which have been refined with the help of her faithful customers, are waiting for patrons.
