Lyming with Innovative Ideas

Laid back and lyming under the stars with good company is the best way to spend any evening, especially at Christmas.

That's what was provided at the Innovative Ideas soirée on Tuesday night, as their major clients and members of the media turned out at the company's headquarters on Ripon Road. It was a mixture of culinary delights from Best Dressed Mobile Kitchen, Pizza Hut and The Pantry Caterers. Ham was a must among the selections, but sweet 'coffee tea' and Christmas pudding and cake were all part of the dessert tray.

Lambert Smith (third left) serves up some of the Best Dressed Chicken ham to (from left) Carmen Patterson, Ambassador Madge Barrett and Dr. Claudette Cooke. Chef, Oliver Welsh looks on.

Aside from the soft music, there was also a presentation from the ever-energetic Ashe Ensemble as they rendered, Ole Time Jamaican Christmas, a vibrant look at all the things that made this time of year magical including the jonkunnu band, grand market and, of course, church.

KFC's marketing manager, Tina Matalon (left), shares some cocktails with Dana Clarke and Leo Azzellino of OGM Communications.

Among the gathering were Beryl Francis and Guy Morris, Robert Gregory, Wyvolyn Gager, Basil Naar, Oral and Richard McCook, Job Nelson, Kalando Wilmoth, Howard Walker, Ian Burnett, Denise Wedderburn, Steve Quallo, Alma Mock Yen, Reginald Allen, Kimberly Blair, Don Patterson and Kathy Yettman.
