Doing the right thing
published: Friday | December 28, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

It might seem that criminality has taken over Jamaica, but remember this, "God is in control." He will bring all of this to an end.

It is time that relatives and friends of these criminals who are shielding them whenever they commit these crimes come for-ward and do the right thing by cooperating with law enforcement and having them brought to justice.

We all know that over 95 per cent of these criminal activities are known to others and thus, should be communicated to the police. When are we going to start doing the correct thing? Until we start doing that, criminality will be headlining the news.

Please do the right thing this new year. God bless you all.

I am, etc.,
