PERHAPS FOR neutrals, a draw is befitting of this afternoon's match-up, the last of the second round in the Cash Plus Premier League, between western rivals, Seba and Reno, at STETHS.

However, in the context of the league, the hosts had better produce a performance worthy of the maximum three points.

On 24 points and three adrift of Seba, Reno's two wins, five draws and three losses so far this round have left them in the precarious striking zone of the only two teams below them, August Town (21) and Village (19). Better yet, victory would lift them above Arnett Gardens (26) and Sporting Central (25).

Reno's last outing resulted in a 3-1 loss to Portmore, a disappointing performance according to their coach, Aaron Lawrence, especially as that game's first half was goalless as well as the fact that Reno had also equalised.

Seba are, however, not in the same class as Portmore and Reno have reason to believe they can end this round on a positive note.

"We have been getting the better of them in recent times - even on their home turf, so we are confident the game can produce a positive result for us," said the team's technical director, Wendell Downswell.

Reno defeated Seba 2-1 at Jarrett Park in the first round, a result which effectively changed the course of Seba's form in the league. This time around, rather than a hiccup, they too would want Reno's scalp badly.
