It certainly cannot be denied that Montego Bay is a city where mothers are celebrated. This was evident on Mother's Day, as moms were fêted from the Hip Strip to the fringes of the city.
At Wine With Me, which is located at the Altamont West Hotel on the Hip Strip, mothers came out for Sunday brunch surrounded by family and settled down to a scrumptious meal fit for a queen. In addition, the Farmers' Market that was established in the open air provided a wide range of items, from organic vegetables to high-end handbags, which provided a few good gift ideas for those who might have been late.
With a picturesque view of the sea and a buffet which boasted excellent food choices, mothers lucky enough to be at the Montego Bay Yacht Club had a wonderful afternoon, and to top off a good thing, Rory Frankson's lovely voice made the afternoon even more special.
Lovely clothing
At the Event Place, mothers styled themselves as well as their children, showcasing lovely clothing from Kid's Kloset and Style Me Boutique.
Out to enjoy Mother's Day in Montego Bay were: General manager of Starfish Resorts Richard Bourke, his wife Carol and their daughter Samantha, Yvonne Bell Vanderhoof, OrgaKnix AgroPro's Janice Dunaney, Palmyra's Dennis and Kathy Constanzo and their children Michael and Alexandria, Sarah Findlay, Rosemarie Spence, Vivienne Frankson, and attorney-at-law George Duncan.
