KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP):
Offspinner Amit Jagger-nauth was dropped by West Indies for the second cricket Test against Australia after taking just one wicket in the first at Sabina Park.
Australia won by 95 runs in Jaggernauth's Test debut.
Jaggernauth and batsman Ryan Hinds, who was in the first Test 14 but did not play, have been left out of the 14-man squad for the second Test, which begins in Antigua on Friday.
Captain Chris Gayle returns after a groin injury while Xavier Marshall, who acted as emer-gency fielder in the first Test, was included.
Bigger squad
"In the ideal world we could take a bigger squad and he would still be with the squad," coach John Dyson said of Jaggernauth. "It's just a matter of looking at the balance of the team and getting the right mix."
Fast bowler Jerome Taylor, who missed the opening match due to a sore back, was among the 14 and expected to return to the match 11 in Antigua.
West Indies: Chris Gayle (captain), Devon Smith, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Runako Morton, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Sulieman Benn, Jerome Taylor, Daren Powell, Fidel Edwards, Darren Sammy, Brenton Parchment, Xavier Marshall.
