Look to Brazil
Jamaica doesn't have to reinvent the wheel to make our country more fuel-efficient. We need to look to the Brazilian model to catch up.
The Brazilians have been using ethanol to run their vehicles; the technologies are readily available for use right now. Jamaicans have no choice but to find the money to solve the problem we now face.
Using sugar cane to make ethanol has a double benefit. It can rebuild the sugar cane industry on a more profitable footing. The by-products of sugar cane are many.

Portmore plea
There has been no water in the Cumberland area of Portmore since Monday. It's very hard to cope with the situation since we have three little children. The houses in Portmore, and especially Cumberland, are very hot.
My wife called the National Water Commission (NWC), and was told that the problem stemmed from a fault with the Jamaica Public Service electricity supply. She was also told by NWC that they were not certain when the situation would be resolved.

City gone bad
'Don't Blame Me, Wheatley vs Bent' - A perfect case of law gone bad. Where is the interest in a better society, coordinated efforts, or just plain interest that these high-ranking officials possess? I see none.
Both should be disciplined and held accountable for a city gone bad. If the mayor and the head of the St Catherine north police division cannot cure this problem, then rid us of these inferior few and bless us with those who show better efforts and coordination.

Passing the buck
Don't blame me! - parish council and police! Wheatley, Bent take responsibility for the illegal Spanish Town bus park and stop passing the buck.
We need a change, remember if the stream is dirty it starts at the top. Prime minister, get rid of them!
