Haunted House? Who knows? - PHOTO BY Robert Lalah
The following are more feedback letters to our very popular weekly feature, Roving with Lalah, which is written by Robert Lalah and appears every Thursday. Be sure to look out for another adventure next week!
Dear Robert:
Thank you once again for bringing us a piece of Jamaica. I can remember a lot of traffic stops in both taxis and buses, and that scene you described was like deja vu. If you had gone in the bus, I am sure you would have heard a host of colourful expressions from persons who just wanted to get where they were going without the delay.
Keep on doing your thing . You are a very brilliant writer, and I truly appreciate your stories.

Dear Robert:
I too, enjoy reading your column. Last week, when I read all the feedback letters, I vowed that I had to read the story for myself, and oh, what a piece! I was alone in my office, but I just could not hold the laughter, which welled up in me and laugh I did! Especially when you said "I was right on his heels, even though my feet got entangled." Truly Jamaican!! Keep it up.

Dear Robert:
Firstly, thanks to you for writing. Not often do I read The Gleaner. I was once an avid reader, however, I stopped reading for a while. However, I was given direction on how to get to your article by my dear friend, who is an avid reader of your column and she insisted that I read it. Before she even had time to preface the story, she bruck out laughing. I had to read it for myself.
Brethren, when mi read di story mi pap out laughing. People at work probably think I was on drugs. I was in stitches, pains and you name it, mi have it. Uncontrollable laughter came from my body. The parts that really got me were the "turtleneck sweater inna summer, the drink of white rum before you guys went off to the haunted house, the fraid like puss look" et cetera. I was in tears and I'm still trying to compose myself to actually type and send you this email.
You have a fan, in me, for life, and when I am feeling a bit down, or any time for that matter, I will be sure to read and pass on because one good turn deserves another.
One Love!
From Atlanta.
