That 'McBush's' poor judgement
published: Tuesday | September 2, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

I read your editorial of August 31, titled 'Partial healing of America's soul', and concur with the general sentiments. But I caution you not to speak too quickly about the McCain ticket - a slap in the face of the citizens of the United States, if you ask me.

By the way, I refuse to use the term 'American' for US citizens, because I, too, am American. I live in the Americas.

Palin is facing investigations in Alaska which could lead to her impeachment. That 'McBush' has chosen her demonstrates a serious lack of judgement and the contempt the Republicans hold for others.

If Obama had chosen a running mate under investigations at the time he made his choice, we would be hearing about it in attack ads. I hope Obama's team makes good use of this in response to some of the nasty ads the Republicans have been running.

I am, etc.,

MICHAEL WILLIAMS
