Registrar General Dept frustration
published: Monday | September 15, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

I am frustrated with the Registrar General Department's head office. I have been trying to contact the office by phone concerning a bill of sale agreement paid for at the Kingston Branch from May 22, 2008.

I paid for the six-weeks service which should have been ready by July 3, 2008. It is now September, approximately 15 weeks later and I cannot get through to them on the phone. The cell numbers provided are either busy, the voice mail chips in or when you hear a voice on the line they cannot hear yours.

I wrote to the Kingston Office and even sent them a photocopy of the original document to assist them with reprocessing but the response indicated that I had to make contact with Island Records Office at the RGD to follow up on the service. I am frustrated. I need the document!

I am, etc.,
