Restaurant Cocoro
published: Thursday | October 2, 2008

The competition in the niche market of Japanese cuisine is quite lively and Restaurant Cocoro is not about to be left behind.

The sophomore entrant into KRW has been making a few changes to keep itself moving on up. There's now room for nearly 20 extra guests on the outer dining area (for those who like to have supper under the stars).

Proprietor Takattiro Sawada said that the menu for KRW has not yet been finalised so customers will have to wait a little longer to see what Cocoro will be cooking.

Located in the Mayfair Hotel, on West Kings House Road, the restaurant is ideal for diners; away from the bumper-to- bumper stuff of New Kingston and other environs, but not too far away, especially for the lunch crowd.

Restaurant Cocoro joined the KRW team in 2007 which was perfect timing as the restaurant had only opened a year earlier.

"We wanted to introduce our restaurant to more people," says Sawada.

Prepare for the ultimate Japanese restaurant experience (sushi and chopsticks, et al) at Restaurant Cocoro.
