Something old, new at Cuddy'z
published: Thursday | October 16, 2008

A new creation for KRW, Hawaiian burger. - Junior Dowie/Staff Photographer

A little bit of old, a little bit of new is the Cuddy'z theme for this year's Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW). All their combos contain an old favourite with some new mouth-watering creations that have been added specifically for the November event.

Delicious staples, such as 519 burger or jerk chicken pasta, alongside newcomers seafood burger (shrimp, scallops and fish), a Hawaiian burger of caramelised pineapple and grilled fish with pan Asian sauce.

This year, Cuddy'z has a double celebration as it shares its fourth birthday and its fourth year with KRW. Manager of Cuddy'z, Jeanelle Waddell, notes that the partnership with The Gleaner has been very good in giving the eatery maximum exposure.

"During KRW, persons who don't normally come out do, and we have definitely seen an increase in clientele during KRW."

With never a dull moment at Cuddy'z, its happy hour on Fridays from 6-8 p.m. is still on during KRW, with a two-for-one drink special. But don't forget, you also get a Smirnoff stinger with any order from their KRW menu.
