The Editor, Sir:

I guess people will now understand fully when the mayor of Kingston, Desmond McKenzie, is so vigilant that persons who operate places of amusement must have their business paying heed to the code set by the authorities.

How can we have clubs with only one way in and that entrance is also the only way out. Can one even begin to think what would happen in the case of an emergency with everyone trying to get out of that one entrance all at once?

I cringe at the thought. Seek out these businesses, Mr McKenzie, and shut them down.
