Twenty-year-Old Old MacDonald Farms is once again on the road with it's annual ham-tasting exercise in schools and corporate offices in Kingston, St Andrew and Clarendon.

On Tuesday, members of The Gleaner Company's staff enjoyed a slice or two with lunch, as Priscilla Muirhead and Pauline Segree served up the popular Yuletide treat to them.

"We have been visiting offices since last month, but throughout the year, we make donations to a few breakfast programmes in schools and we also donate to charity," Segree told Food.

Old MacDonald Farms supplies all cuts of ham, smoked chicken, chicken franks, jerk sausage, jerk bacon, smoked turkey smoked loin chops and other locally produced meats to supermarkets and hotels.

"Our products are available all year round and we are very proud that we manufacture our items from Jamaican pigs," she said.

Old MacDonald Farms can be contacted at 134 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10, or at 986-8229.

Right - We cannot wait for Christmas to start eating ham.
