published: Tuesday | November 18, 2008

Matisyahu

SIX OF the 10 discs in Billboard Magazine's Reggae Chart are by non-Jamaican acts. Veteran British group UB40 heads the latest listing with its Greatest Hits.

In second position is Jewish reggae act Matisyahu with his Extended Play release, Shattered, while VP Records' popular compilation Reggae Gold is third.

Bermuda dancehall artiste Collie Buddz clocks in at number four with his self-titled debut, with California reggae band Rebelution completing the top five with Courage To Grow.

Ky-Mani Marley's Radio, Amplify by John Brown's Body, Lucky Dube's Retrospective, Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection and Sizzla: The Very Best of Sizzla Kalonji are the other albums in the Top 10.
