NOTE-WORTHY
published: Monday | December 1, 2008

  • Help for mom

I am looking for a neurologist/gerontologist in Jamaica to see my mother who is suffering from Alzheimer's. I saw the wonderful article about Dr Lee and wondered if she could recommend such a doctor for my mom who lives close to Nain, St Elizabeth.

  • Kill them all

I grew up in Jamaica but now I am living abroad and have always wanted to come back home, but when I hear about all the raping and killing of women and children and our brothers, it makes me not even want to think of the country where I was born. I support the death penalty 100 per cent. I say kill them all.

  • Possible classmate

After reading the interesting account of the life of Kitty Cawston in The Gleaner on November 13, I realised that her daughter, Jackie, might have been a school classmate of mine in the early '60s in England. Is there any way in which you could put me in touch with the family to check this out?

  • Growth initiative

Our economy has been suffering from anaemic growth for close to 20 years now. We know that the BOJ's major concern is maintaining the value of the currency and fighting inflation. Who is in charge of growth? Without growth there will be no improved prosperity.

  • Best wishes

I was a past patient of Dane Levy, and, most important, a recruit to his Portmore launch of the Rotary chapter. I enjoyed the short time I spent there before migrating. I never had the chance to express my regard for his effort in doing what he saw necessary to improve conditions for those around him. Kindly send him my best wishes for his dedication.
