I was moved with appreciation and nostalgia after reading the story about the St James book bank. I appreciate the focus that your newspaper gave to this story. It is the type of positive vibes of which all Jamaicans can be proud. It is the sort of humanitarian gesture of kindness that brings back the memories of when we cared about our children in the community.

I would like to congratulate the visionaries of this programme. It would be great if it gets duplicated all over Jamaica.

I am certain that many Jamaicans living both at home and abroad would like to assist. I would be thrilled to volunteer my time to collecting books and make them available to the programme.
