We would like the following statement to be published as follows:

The management of the Caribbean Aerospace College (CAC) wishes to apologise for the erroneous statement made regarding accreditation by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), published in the Business Section of The Sunday Gleaner dated May 24, 2009 entitled 'New Aviation College To Fill Need For Maintenance Engineers'.

We wish to correct our statement as follows:

"The Caribbean Aerospace College (CAC) has had preliminary discussions with the University Council of Jamaica, and is being guided by the UCJ's standards for the establishment of a tertiary institution.

CAC plans to seek registration by the UCJ, and subsequently, accreditation for its programmes of study."

We would appreciate an early publication of this statement, so that the public will be duly advised.
