Three more swine flu cases

The Ministry of Health yesterday said three additional cases of the H1N1 influenza virus were confirmed on Tuesday, bringing to 10 the number of cases detected on the island.
According to the Ministry of Health, all three persons are well and are linked to travel to New York in the United States.
The ministry said its health team had interviewed, examined and taken samples from immediate contacts and had sent those samples to a laboratory for testing.
The health ministry has reminded persons to contact their doctor, nearest health centre or hospital if they have flu-like symptoms, take the medication recommended by their health-care provider and remain at home, as advised by doctor and the public health teams.
