On May 1, I was admitted to the Spanish Town Public Hospital to do major corrective orthopaedic surgery to my right arm, right leg, right foot and toes. The medical treatment and surgery offered was first class and professionally done, and every step of the way I felt that the medical team was doing the best job that could possibly be done.

I give my heartiest thanks for the treatment meted out to me in the Orthopaedic Department and by the staff throughout the hospital in general. I would like to especially commend Dr Minott and Dr Jithendra.

If this is an indication of what this Government is hoping to achieve in its health-care policies, it is certainly on the right track.
