Cellphone ban
1. New developments on the scene led to some very irate would-be patrons. Seems like with pictures of friends in very compromising positions are turning up everywhere, the organisers of the last event banned all cellphones.
Working wives!
2. Wife number one has retained the services of a financial adviser in the person of wife number two. The mandate: how best to separate their former husband from his considerable wealth, leaving cupboards bare before the lady standing on the sidelines can become wife number three.
In the news
3. Some are complaining that hungry functionaries are so hungry to see themselves in the nightly news clips that they are feeding stories to their friends in the business in the hope of making the news! They point to recent high-profile happenings to bolster their case.
Up for sale
4. The downsizing is on in earnest. The north coast condo is up for sale! So, too, are a number of the motor vehicles from the fleet. And, come September, the children will be enrolled in a less-expensive institution.
Three-way split
5. Some insiders are saying it's now a three-way split, with the party now divided into three factions, and so the new name is the PPP. Others are not so flippant as they say, as the three Ps fight one another, for the power and the glory, the kingdom is going to waste.

6. First there were the complaints about the one elbowing the other out of the way to have her picture taken. Now there are complaints about another who insists on carrying a little something home for the other one.

7. After two years at the helm of the organisation, with nothing to show, not even one sale, the high-visibility one was asked to go.

8. People are asking if 'Cruella' has been defanged, as she seems to have lost her bite.

9. When the husband bought the wife the little hideaway, little did he know that the first person to spend a cosy weekend there with her would have been the boy-toy and not him.
