CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION

Trevor Randle, chairman and founder of Watts New Limited. - File

The article 'NWC floats $900m bond' published in the Financial Gleaner, November 13, stated that the National Water Commission made an operating loss of $2.4 billion for the fiscal year 2008/09. The loss was $554.3 million.

We regret the error.

The NWC also said not all its projects are commercially financed. Some of the bilaterally and multilaterally funded programmes are the US$85m KMA Water Supply Project, the US$50m Kingston Water and Sanitation Project and the €39m Port Antonio Water Supply Project.

In the story 'Watts New expands to MoBay' published November 13 in the Financial Gleaner, a photo of Eric Garrick was incorrectly identified as Trevor Randle. The correct photo of Randle appears here.
