Birthday wishes all around as those born under the sign of Scorpio give way to Sagittarians, with beautiful people everywhere celebrating their special days.

Dears, today the 27th, the charmingly fab fashion designer Elaine Dreyer celebrates another year, as does the charming Eleanor Hussey, and former Jamaican diplomat, Peter Smith.

Model and beauty, Fallon Harris, celebrates her special day tomorrow, the 28th, as will the lovely Mandira Kalra Kalaan, who will celebrate in Jaipur, India.

The lovely Cherise Francis-Windle and husband, John, will jet into Jamaica this Saturday, in preparation for her birthday celebration on Sunday. The place of choice to mark this milestone is SuperClubs Breezes Negril.

Also celebrating her birthday on Sunday will be restaurateur and north coast socialite Eva Myers, of the famed Evita's Italian Restaurant, in Ocho Rios. And the buzz is all about the celebratory and anniversary bash this Sunday, at her restaurant. It will mark her birthday (she's not saying how old, but who's counting), and the 19th anniversary of the Ocho Rios landmark, and luvs, definitely the party pick of the weekend.

Another fab year

Acclaimed chef, Darren Lee, formerly of Strawberry Hill, now in Florida, also celebrates his birthday on Sunday. As will the lovely Tessa Henry.

Banker and beauty, Tanya Hoshue, will celebrate on Monday.

Singing sensation J.C. Lodge will celebrate her special day on Tuesday, December 1, as will publicist Carole Beckford, educator Verica Bennett, realtor Andrew Baston, the fabulous Dale Ferguson and businessman Joey Issa.

On Wednesday, the 2nd, the fab Suzette Keane, of Hedonism III in Runaway Bay, will celebrate her birthday.

And come next Thursday, it will be all about the celebrated Artist Judy-Ann MacMillan, as the painter will mark another fab year. Also celebrating next Thursday will be Raymond Douglas, in London, England.

Then, belated wishes and then some to Beverley Anderson-Manley, who celebrated on the 8th, as did young Brandon Benjamin.

Saleem Lazarus celebrated on November 11. Jamaican-born Florida realtor Dax Dunn celebrated his birthday on the 12th.

Socialites Nora Parnell Perez and Nicola Croswell-Mair celebrated their special day on the 13.

Wife of the prime minister, Lorna Golding, celebrated on November 14; International gad-about and north coast habitué Francesca Tavassi De Majo, of Rome, Italy, and Malta, also celebrated on the 14th, and will arrive in Jamaica on Wednesday evening for some sun, rest and relaxation. She will remain on the north coast for a few days before setting off to meet husband Ron, in Mexico, before returning to Jamaica, to get away from the European winter.

Pre-eminent socialite, Ambassador Madge Barrett, celebrated on the 15th, as did north coast socialite Caroline Grant, and Jamaican hunk Fabian Allen, now resident in the Big Apple and strutting his stuff for Chippendale.

Fab banker Minna Israel celebrated on the 17th.

Former European Union envoy to Jamaica, Ambassador Gerd Jarchow, celebrated last Wednesday, the 18th. And he and wife, Mara Mandara Jarchow, will arrive in Jamaica, in mid-December for his annual Christmas holidays. Also celebrating on the 18th were Sadie McBean and Rodney Davis. Dr Carol Ball celebrated on the 19th.

Sexiest women

Paul Chang celebrated on the 20th, as did Tony Scott and James Watson.

And one of the sexiest women alive, the ultra-gorgeous model, beauty and stunner, Carla Campbell, celebrated her birthday last Sunday, the 22nd, as did the young Graham Burke-Green who celebrated with dad, Barrington Burke-Green, and family, in New York.

Mrs Jean Anderson of Mandeville celebrated her birthday on Tuesday the 24th, as did the lovely Taquise Gordon-Smith, the lovely Kavelle Christie, and Architect Carl Neita, who celebrated in Washington, DC.

Dr Jonathan Greenland celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, the 25th, as did fab Olympian Aleen Bailey.

The charming Carmen Clarke celebrated yesterday, the 26th, as did Rhys Campbell, who did his initial parting over there in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, with the big-enchilada slated later for Jamaica.

Champagne toasts all around with Beluga treats and the some!

Champagne toasts to Cecil Benson (Robert to friends and family), and his wife, the charming Beryl Burke-Benson, who celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary come next Tuesday, December 1, with a special do for family and friends at their residence, in Bath, St Thomas.

The word is, it will be fab and intimate.

Then former Canadian high commissioner to Jamaica, the very affable Claudio Valle and his fabulous wife, Louise, jetted into the island on Wednesday afternoon for some fun and sun, and a number of pre-Christmas social engagements.

And after an 18-year association, the ultra-fabulous Katrin Schafelner Casserly has decided to take leave of the elegant Round Hill Hotel and Villas, as the property's director of sales and marketing to spend more time with husband, information technology mogul Patrick Casserly and their three-year-old son.

The fab Mrs Schafelner Casserly will not be leaving Round Hill entirely though, as she will be taking over the concession for the property's gift shop and boutique and will continue as chair of the Hanover Charities, with a view to continue her philanthropic work.

Lyme

Kudos all around, and then some!

Then on Sunday, December 6, it will be all about the Friends of Lucien Tai-Tenn-Quee, who will be hosting what promises to be a fab Sunday afternoon lyme, at The Deck, 14 Trafalgar Road, in New Kingston.

Dears, the event promises to be the social of the weekend as Rotarians and other Friends of the ailing Tai-Tenn-Quee come together to celebrate his life and friendship, in an event designed to raise funds for a very noble cause. And with a number of Kingston's leading social luminaries lending their active support to the event, y'all know we are talking an expected fab outing here, and with nominal cover of $1000 per person, dears, it's a must-attend for the social conscious and party hearty.
