The 18-member Drift-wood Gun Club has been part of the Treasure Beach and Blunters communities for the last five years. The club not only enjoys the sport of birdshooting but has, over the years, provided support for the St Elizabeth community by way of back-to-school supplies for children, clothing, footwear, relief supplies such as water, food and tarpaulins after a hurricane; financial support for medical emergencies and, more recently, twelve 200-gallon water tanks to needy households in the community.

The club also has in its possession some desks and chairs and is in the process of sourcing a suitably needy school for them. After handing over the water tanks, members of the Driftwood club participated in a curry goat and mannish water lyme with members of the community.
